The Life of a Pot - A Hosts' Checklist

These are the main steps in hosting a pot on

Each item is linked to specific help for that step ...
   1. Create a pot
Get started by clicking "Host a pot" and choosing your pot's name, teams, rules and terms. (Save your rules for really fast set up the next time around!)
   2. Open a pot This step confirms your choices and opens your pot for play.
It's easy! Just click the "Open" button.
   3. Create players list
If you don't yet have a players list, create a list in this step. If you already have a players list, skip this step. (Use bulk entry - it's really fast!)
   4. Invite players
Send an invitation to your players. This informs them about the pot and provides them with the pot code they need to display it.
   5. Close a pot This prevents any more changes to the pot by players, pending completion of settlement on the squares.
   6. Lock a pot When settlement is complete, it's time to draw numbers and tell players that they can come see what numbers they have drawn.
   7. Post results Be sure and post results of your event so your winners are notified and recognized on the pot page.
