... limit player's squares?

If there is a lot of interest in your pot and you want to give everyone plenty of time to claim squares, you can limit the number of squares players can claim, either permanently or until a certain date. You can set limits before or after your pot is open for play.
This feature can be especially helpful if your pot is just for fun or does not require players to risk anything to claim squares. (After all, who doesn't like free squares?)
Example: A family wants to decide who gets a certain heirloom. A pot with squares limits can ensure that no one gets more chances to win than any other player.
To limit player's squares:
Click the "Limits" button. You can find it below the game board after you have submitted set up options in the "Choose Action" group or on your Quickview page that lists all your open pots. The system displays the Pot Limits page.
Pot Limits
  1. Choose a number from the "Max. squares / players" drop down list.
  2. Choose a number from the "Limit expires" drop down list.
("Never" means players can never choose more squares than the limit.)
  3. Complete this process by clicking the "Submit" button.
Players may not choose more squares than the limti you set unless and until your limit expires.
